Peter Hawkins headlines conference on future of supervision

The future of supervision will be the topic of debate at this year’s Supervision Conference UK (formerly BASPR) run by Oasis-Talk.

Supervisors of counsellors, psychotherapists and cognitive behavioural therapists are invited to the one-day event on Saturday 12th October, 2013 in Bristol.

The keynote speaker is Peter Hawkins, co-author of Supervision in the Helping Professions, the seminal text for supervisors. Its fourth edition has been extensively revised to highlight the contextual and cultural implications of supervision.

Peter will be discussing how supervision has developed and what he sees as being the challenges ahead. He will then lead a panel of well-known contributors to the field of supervision, producing a collaborative inquiry into the title of the conference.

There will be a selection of workshops in the afternoon.
