Free counselling for Older people in South Gloucestershire
Free Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
One in five older people are affected by depression, and this number doubles among older people living with a long-term health condition such as diabetes or arthritis.
Oasis-Talk is now offering free counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for older people living in South Gloucestershire. With thanks to our funders, St Monica’s Trust we can look to improve the mental health of local people aged above 50.
Research studies have shown that older people who access psychological therapies are not only more likely to complete their treatment but have higher rates of recovery from depression.
